Oliver: With a Twist!

While we were in Berlin we met a boy named Oliver who was about 16, 17 years old. He was at one of the outreaches and he sat through one of our entire outreaches just watching. Cedric went up to him and began to share Christ with him and he decided to give his life to Christ. the next day Oliver met us again for one of our outreaches and his countenance had changed drastically! He smiled constantly and he absolutely loved what we were doing. Once on the way to dinner he was walking with us and he passed a street musician under a bridge. I watched as he went over to the man took out his wallet and dropped some cash into the man's guitar case. He then sat down next to the man and started talking to him. he asked me to bring his dinner out to him and when i did instead of eating it he gave some to the man and began to tell him about Jesus! 24 hours after being saved and Oliver already began living out the commandment to become a missionary. God blessed us with him as another translator who could now share his own testimony! He had such a fire lit inside of him and it was amazing to watch it burn in this dark city. Cedric asked him on our last outreach day after church if he had started at all reading the German Bible we had given him and he said yes, he had 2 more pages left. and Cedric asked,"...of the chapter?" and he answered no, of the entire new testament! We were all amazed that in 2 days he had wanted to read so much of his bible! By the time we left he had already finished reading the entire bible. Now the night after the first church service we asked him to go to church with us the next day as well and he said he would meet us. But the next morning he wasn't there to meet us so we went onto church. We found out later he had been hit by a car on his way to meet us. [the devil once again] He is fine but still healing from it so I ask that you pray for our young brother in Christ!
